Hahaha! This was great. You know, I never took to the guy and had I been involved would have DEFINITELY done oppo on him. He reminds me of every single date-raping AH that I've ever known by dint of unwanted association.
I went to school with those guys, worked with those guys, was in bands with those guys and even joined a Marine Corps that attracted those guys. Life continually introduced me to those guys, forced me to interact with them, but I never accepted them. I avoided them as much as possible.
Then Platner appeared with 4, 5, 6, and more emails per day asking for money. I knew him first time I laid eyes on him. Nope. Back to the oyster beds you. GTFOH! Hahaha! Now him sleep wit de oysters!

Yeah, honestly, I keep saying that Maine isn't my state and if that's who their voters thought they wanted, if he could beat Collins and do some good in the Senate, cool. However, some of his other scandals I wasn't even aware of until working up this piece tonight. That Nazi tattoo alone was enough to leave me skeptical. I've been young too and made mistakes but I've never marked by body with insignias from a fascist army "by mistake." His state's voters accepted his explanation and apology but I was skeptical and quietly hoped I'd be wrong. Turns out my skepticism was warranted.

Maybe he’s not everyone’s favorite guy but Dennis Kucinich once said at the debates when asked about electability, “I’m electable if you vote for me!”
I suppose that’s what it boils down to. Clearly, anyone is electable as we see today.
